BIMAL oil reached Angola and the Philippines

In addition to the Far East, the products of the edible oil production plant BIMAL in Brcč reached their first customers in Africa this winter. An excellent export strategy, superior product quality and continuous development of the customer network resulted in the sale of over 5 million liters of oil to Malaysia, the Philippines and Angola.

“The basic condition for opening new markets is quality, and the BIMAL Group expands its export markets every year, which confirms this condition. As a leader in the production of food products in Bosnia and Herzegovina, BIMAL contributes significantly to the economic development of our country and influences the promotion of the quality of domestic products around the world,” said Nataša Pucar, Director of Corporate Communications of STUDEN Holding, which includes the BIMAL factory.

Since 2016 when it first delivered products to Malaysia, BIMAL is present in the Far East, and thanks to the top quality of its edible oils, the Philippine market is now on the map of export markets of the Brc factory. With continuous production and capacities, BIMAL markets about 80% of its product range outside Bosnia and Herzegovina, and entering the African market certainly contributes to the further growth of the BIMAL Group.

The BIMAL factory is certified in accordance with seven internationally recognized standards, starting with ISO 9001:2015, IFS, ISCC, Halal, Kosher and GMP+ standards, and the BEZ GMO Produced standard, which it was among the first companies in BiH to successfully implement. In addition to sunflower, soybean and rapeseed oil, the NON-GMO product range of the BIMAL Group includes lecithins, pellets, fatty acids and special products from high-oleic sunflower.
